Goal
Rick Lang wanted to keep his website fresh and up to date with new press, new music, and a cleaner presentation. The goal? Make sure fans, media, and industry contacts can easily find his latest work and accolades.
Approach
I tackled multiple pages across Rick’s site with strategic updates:
On Songwriting Blog: Added his newest blog post, complete with a link to the sheet music PDF so readers can follow along.
Blue Collar Gospel Album: Uploaded the latest promotional poster and recent reviews to showcase the album's impact.
Updated the main title for clarity
Linked directly to two major news article PDFs
Added a new “RLM News” button next to the album buttons for easy access
Took a homepage screenshot for social sharing
RLM News Page: Added links to news articles, album reviews, and the promo poster.
Contact Page: Noted Rick’s record label, Billy Blue Records, for industry contacts.
Photo Gallery: Cleaned up the visuals by removing an outdated guitar photo and the MLC logo.
Results
