Custom Code For a Cleaner Inbox
Custom-built contact form for Leaucon with lightweight code, spam protection, and no plugins. Clean design, real results, and zero inbox clutter.

When I was working onLeaucon’s new website, I didn’t just slap in a generic contact form and call it a day. I built one that works -- clean, fast, spam-resistant, and totally custom-coded to fit the site’s vibe and function.
Goal
Give Leaucon a contact form that looked simple on the surface, but had the muscle under the hood to protect his inbox, maintain trust, and keep the whole experience smooth and friction-free for real users.
Approach
Instead of relying on a bloated plugin or cookie-cutter form builder, I wrote a custom form using lightweight HTML and JavaScript -- clean, fast, and tailored to exactly what he needed.
Here’s what went into it:
Custom JS-powered honeypot field to catch bots before they even hit “submit.”
Minimal, focused input fields (no dropdown clutter or generic placeholders).
Validation logic that keeps the form user-friendly and reliable.
Styling to match the site’s clean, professional aesthetic.
Bonus: No clunky recaptchas. No plugin updates to babysit. Just a better, smarter form.
Results
The result? A sharp contact page that looks effortless to visitors -- and actually is -- while keeping spam at bay and making sure messages go straight where they need to.
It’s fast, secure, and doesn’t rely on third-party tools. It just works. Which is exactly the kind of thing I like to build.
This is my code.

This is what humans see.

This is what spam bots see.
